The Albany MTB club is pleased to present the first ever race at the legendary Poikeclerup site! Poikies has been spoken about in hushed conversations for many years but is set to burst into the public eye on the June Long weekend. Please come and enjoy the venue as a competitor or spectator but be sure to bring your best behaviour – The club is currently working with the City of Albany to do significant development of Poikies and we want to ensure that we are welcome back!
Please visit the events page for more details or hop onto the Albany MTB Club page.

The committee has been working feverishly in the background to organise a new venue for Rd 3, due to the recent Nannup Fires we were forced to move Welli Mills forward to Rd 1 & we really wanted to ensure we keep presenting some different locations for the 2019 calendar.
In doing so we have an application in with the Shire of York to host Round 3 as a one time only at Mt Brown which is one of WA’s oldest DH tracks.
At this stage we are put in a tricky position, with the short notice the final tick off was not entered into the councils last meeting minutes so we have to wait for the final sign off next week at the next council meeting. This only leaves us with a couple of days before Rd 3.
We have decided to open rego’s and let everyone know so people can start planning, rego’s will stay open until Friday night 3rd of May due to the wait.
The council has told us we are 99% there and just need this final sign off so we are hopeful it will all get done.
We generally have 80% of riders rego at the last minute anyway so this shouldn’t effect most peoples rego however we thought people may want to start looking at accom for the weekend.
The application was to still have shuttles on both days & there has been no objection to this so we are planning on a fully shuttled round.
We will keep everyone posted as more news comes to hand.
